The Saint John Derby Schedule
6:00 Silent auction (using paper bid sheets), hors d'oeuvres, and cash bar, $25 all you can drink wine, and $20 all you can drink beer, plus a signature Mint Julep drink
7:30 Plated sit-down dinner
Menu:
Grilled, Sliced, Beef Filet: Served with a seasoned butter OR
Bruschetta Chicken: Boneless chicken breast with tomato basil balsamic relish finished with fresh Parmesan OR
Vegetable Primavera: Sautéed vegetable medley served over a bed of spinach fettuccine and finished with a creamy Alfredo sauce
All entrées include a garden salad, roll, baby red potatoes, and green beans almondine (green beans and potatoes are not with vegetable primavera option).
Live Auction and Entertainment to Follow!
More Auction Information: Our silent auction (using paper bid sheets) and live auction will only be available to people attending the auction. In addition to our silent and live auctions, we will also have an online/mobile auction. The online auction will use online bidding and the ability to bid at this auction will be available to anyone registered on this website. You can easily register by clicking the "Signup to Bid in our Online Auction" button below. The online auction will start on January 29th, 2017 for ticket buyers and then will open on January 30th, 2017 for everyone else. The Online Auction will end on the day of the auction, February 4th, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. (right before dinner begins).
Auction Entertainment:
Following the Live Auction, we will have some very exciting entertainment, our very own Saint John Derby horse races. An entertainment company will bring all the fun of horse racing and betting to the Saint John Derby! There will be 6 previously recorded real horse races for everyone to bet on. We will bet using the fake funds provided. Each guest will receive a program with information on the horses/"insider
info", a betting sheet, and pencil. The company provides the sound and video system, MC, and cashiers to handle the bets and payoffs/tickets. It should be great fun!
Horse Racing Grand Prize:
Based on your bets and winnings, you will be rewarded tickets. At the end of the races, all tickets will be entered into a drawing to win an iPad mini and an iTunes gift card. Thank you Luxe Hair Studio (owner, Tammy Goepfert) for donating the grand prize!!
